Lev Parnas, one of two associates of the Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, served as a translator for the lawyers representing oligarch Dmytro Firtash. Parnas was arrested on Thursday along with other Florida entrepreneurs, Igor Fruman, in terms of non-related costs including illegal funneling $325,000 for a political action committee supporting Pro-Trump candidates.
Both people worked in an unspecified ability for Firtash before Parnas joined Ukraine’s legal team, according to a person familiar with the business dealings of the Florida male with Firtash.
The Floridians connections to prosecute oligarch Firtash inject a compelling new character into the drama quickly unfolding around the attempts to impeach Trump.
